My new single, “ROXY,” is a heartfelt musical tribute to the memory of my stepmother and dear friend, Roxana Benites. After a brave battle with cancer, Roxy passed away, but her legacy lives on through this musical project.
This song is the most sincere way I could find to honor Roxy’s memory. I wanted her musical legacy to be something personal and timeless. “ROXY” is a way for me to speak to her, to thank her for the unconditional love she gave me, and to cherish the memories I will always hold in my heart.

JChris Wraps Up His Debut China Tour with a Packed Show in Hong Kong
Rising Latin artist JChris, a GRAMMY voting member and one of the most exciting voices in Latin fusion, has successfully wrapped up his first-ever China tour, marking a major step in his expansion into the Asian market.
The tour included two electrifying performances in Hangzhou and Shanghai on August 30–31, and concluded with a high-energy finale on September 6, 2025, at Bamboo Bar in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong. The show drew a full crowd of local music lovers, international guests, and Latin music fans, all eager to experience JChris’s signature sound live for the first time in Hong Kong.
Bringing his “Latin storm” to Asia, JChris performed a set that blended Latin, Afro, and Brazilian rhythms, delivering an unforgettable night of movement, passion, and rhythm. The show — titled “玄 (Xuan)” — featured JChris alongside musicians Junior Cerpa, Hitesh Hemnani, and T2IN!TY, combining live instruments and DJ energy to keep the crowd dancing all night.
“It’s a dream come true to perform in China for the first time,” said JChris. “Thank you to my fans in Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Hong Kong for the love and energy, and to Silk Road Project and Chapter 2 Entertainment for making this possible.”
The Hong Kong performance at Bamboo Bar was more than a concert — it was a cultural celebration that brought Latin rhythms to the heart of Asia’s nightlife scene. Fans filled the dance floor from start to finish, singing, dancing, and cheering as JChris delivered his signature mix of reggaeton, Afro-Latin beats, and tropical grooves.
With this successful debut tour, JChris has officially opened a new chapter in his international journey, setting the stage for more collaborations and live shows across Asia in the near future.
