Our Hispanic Heritage Month school concerts were a success! It was an honor to perform for so many students, share our music and culture with them, and receive so much love and enthusiasm in return. Moments like these remind me of the power of music to connect us, inspire the next generation, and create meaningful cultural experiences.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring these experiences to students and to everyone who helped make these performances possible.
The Betsy Hotel Residency
I also want to give a special shoutout and heartfelt thank you to The Betsy Hotel, one of Miami Beach’s historic cultural landmarks, for the incredible opportunities to perform and for the exciting residencies we’re creating together.
Under my leadership, Sofar Sounds Miami is partnering with The Betsy Hotel to bring unique live music experiences to this iconic venue. Together, we’re creating intimate performances that bring audiences closer to artists while celebrating Miami’s diverse musical voices and creative community.
I’m especially excited about the programming we’re developing, from Latin R&B nights to our Sofar Sounds series, Indie with a Side of Jazz. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring different musical influences together in a space with such a rich history of supporting the arts.

A high-energy evening centered around JChris’s urban Latin sound, blending Latin rhythms, R&B melodies, and original music with selections from across the Latin music tradition.

Noche de Paladar
Noche de Paladar was a huge success! It was a beautiful evening celebrating Latin culture, food, music, and community as part of Unity Coalition’s Celebrate ORGULLO festival.
A special shoutout to Unity Coalition and its president, Herb Sosa, for continuing to create spaces that celebrate our heritage and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. I’m also incredibly grateful to Las Martí, Francia, Miami Gay Chorus, and Adora for sharing their art, talent, and culture with us. Each performance brought something special to the evening and made the celebration that much more meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the artists, and helped make the night such a memorable celebration of our community.
